New Billet Engine Oil Take-off Plates

Specialty Tee fitting for installing sensors and switches for gauges or engine management. The TPVW is generally for use with German cars that use M10 x 1.0 factory sensors/switches. The tee allows for use of the standard metric sensor in the run (in-line) position and a 1/8" NPT side port (branch) for the aftermarket sensor. The TP8 is similar but with 1/8 JIS/BSPT thread for Japanese engines, again with factory thread on the run and 1/8 NPT on the branch. The 5602-2 is 1/8 NPT with male/female on the run and female on the branch. This can be used to double-up sensors/switches on most domestic applications.

Factory Replacement Hoses: Fuel and oil hoses on many makes and model vehicles are now obsolete. Because of the unique pre-bent, uniquely shaped manifold ends, the hoses are very difficult to remake from standard available parts. The way we generally deal with this is to remove the factory ends and refit modern 30R9 specification fuel hose and re-crimp the factory hose ends. The result is a better than standard replacement. Price varies based on time and materials. The hoses pictured are from a 90's era Mercedes with the last available new cost of 400 for the three shown. These were rebuilt for 250. Hand-held PTFE tool is designed to assist assembling -3, -4, -6, -8 smooth-bore PTFE hose fittings. Tool serves two purposes depending on fitting type. For crimp type hose ends the tool resizes hose PTFE inner which generally becomes out of round after cutting. Once sized, the fitting tail can be easily inserted prior to crimping. For reusable hose ends: place the compression sleeve “olive” on the shaft up to the shoulder with sharp edge forward, insert tool into hose, twist to resize the hose interior while separating the exterior braid from the liner and seating the olive - all in one step.   Part# PTT1 $29.95

Oil Coolers may be cosmetically imperfect for a number of reasons: Paint related (chips or runs), weld splatter around fittings, bent mounting tabs resulting in chipped paint (touched up), bent airway fins (corrected, but unsightly), cores out of tolerance (slightly crooked). Recently while moving some crates around the factory we came across a stash of pre-production Mocal HD series oil coolers. These were made about 10 years ago prior to the current black production HD coolers with the slim profile female fluid connections. These have a taller (3/4”) bung for fluid connection and are painted an ugly bright silver or industrial gray. They may also be slightly crooked or blemished, but the pricing more than makes up for their unattractiveness. All units are new and pressure tested. Quantities and pricing are limited to stock on hand.

Introducing Mocal's new billet aluminum sandwich plates that make adding an oil cooler to most engines an easy task. Sandwich plates mount between engine block and oil filter and provide ports for hose connections to and from the remote mounted oil cooler. Our standard cast aluminum sandwich plates have been the benchmark in the industry for over 30 years. As a logical extension, these new billet versions are the ultimate in quality and performance. This hose is a result of working with BMW bike owners to come up with a solution to a problem: The fixed hard line makes it difficult to service the water pump and other closely placed components on the popular BMW F650 type enduro motorcycles. We make these using high specification –AN type stainless covered hose and alloy fittings.
